Hands Up Scholarship 2016

Congratulations to Aimee Leaming who was recently awarded the Recreational Services Foundations’ ‘Hands up Scholarship 2016’, to support her travel to Invercargill to compete at the New Zealand National Gymsports Competition (as an Aerobic Gymnast). The scholarship, valued up to $1500, is designed to provide a ‘Hands up’ to youths to support aspirations in music, sport and education.

Aimee had attended a number of Auckland based competitions (The ZM Series 2,3, Aspire Qualifier and the New Zealand National Secondary Schools Competition at all of which she placed 1st) to qualify to attend this prestigious National Competition, which will span over a number of days during the upcoming holidays.
